God, in His love for us, doesn't flippantly dismiss our sin and look the other way....it will always be important for every generation to come back to this truth because we seem to be so resistant to call a sin a sin.....we have to start there and understand, according to God's Word, what sin is and why God hates it. Only after we understand this can we look on His sacrifice with the gratefulness, praise, honor, and glory it deserves of us. God, with complete purpose, looks directly into our depravity and offers us the only remedy to our fallen state.....Himself.
