Today is the memorial service for one of the students I had been working with.  I had been assisting her following an illness she was battling because she desired to return to school and gradually start taking a few classes toward completing her degree.  Unfortunately, her body was not accepting the medical treatments she had received as well as she had originally thought and she passed away earlier this month.  Her family said to wear a splash of yellow today in memory of her....that was her favorite color.

I am sure she was this for so many....I wish I had known her better, but even knowing of her story is incredibly inspiring.
