McKenna says I have been slacking with my blogs lately....true, but I have been thinking and researching a lot now that I know my job is going to be finished at the end of the month.  I am looking for part-time leads, but also trying to update all my training binders at the office so the info is correct for whoever I will train :P

Here are a couple of my favorite funny things from this week...

When I found out Vannah's band would be performing Classic Rock music this year, I told her the Color Guard should dress and do makeup like Jem and the Holograms....haha!  Well, I got the EYE ROLL with that idea.  Moms, anyone with me that ALL our ideas are stupid for a while in life?  Some days I wonder if I should even make suggestions  :P  So, this week, Vannah said, "I have to show you a picture, mom!"  "I am sure you will like it!"  "We decided to do our make up like this for our band invitational"  It is TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS! ...Jem and the Holograms and now that is what Vannah wants to be for Halloween :P  Those mom moments make me laugh so hard!

And.....Vannah told me yesterday that she had to learn how to make a bed with someone still in it during her Med Tech training at the Career Center.  She said it was awkward and really hard to do because you can NEVER let the person touch the mattress, but you have to keep shifting their position to get the sheets on correctly.  I told her I want her to practice this with me laying in my bed today....the idea of this is so funny to me.
