Obviously, this is not an exhaustive list of all the wonders of Christ.....and I contemplated whether I would agree to the endings being "ed" or, rather, "ing".....but, I came to the conclusion that He did and is doing both, so the picture is accurate :) DO you think maybe that is why He goes by so many names?.....so every grateful child can make their own picture with His name? :)
You know, if I could leave you with the most meaningful gift, I would wish to present you with something that would keep on giving you love, joy, peace, and hope every single day. I know that what I can tangibly hand to you or make for you is never enough to accomplish that. Though I wish it was, that's okay....it's a good lesson for me (and maybe you too)....really, my gifts should only serve as a reminder that we have already been given the greatest gift of all and we are lacking nothing because my gifts should flow from that place.....a place of gratefulness for what He has done and not a place of my own selfish desire. When I give from that motive or desire to receive with that motive, I am not satisfied. This should never be the season of our discontent....but, a beautiful reminder of what it means to be contented and OVER JOYED in the gift of our salvation and anything else God has desired to add as blessings to our lives.
I think I remember hearing once that we are contented when we become the proud owner of everything that can't be bought....
I'll leave you with that thought....coupled with GOD'S priceless gift of Jesus Christ....He is the only gift that will keep on giving you what you need.
