Kenna has a cheer competition in Mason today so an elf gave their coach some special instructions...

A letter from their coach:

"As I was running errands earlier today, I met a wise old elf.  She was very pleasant and asked why I was in such a hurry.  I told her I had a cheerleading practice with you cheerleaders - our last one before the Mason competition.

"Cheerleaders?" she asked, "Are they any good?"

Well, being the proud coach that I am, I responded - "Of course, when they put their minds to it!"

"So tell me more"....she said, and I sat down and told her about each and everyone of you.

When we were all finished with our chat, she was pleased that I took the time to be with her.  She was so pleased and impressed that she sent along a gift for each of you.  She said if you follow these instructions you will shine at the competition."

She gave the coach magic beans for the cheerleaders....

BLUE to stick their stunts, RED for mighty team spirit, GREEN for strong jumps, ORANGE for mighty voices, YELLOW for a glowing smile, and BROWN for putting it all together.

All the cheerleaders had to pick three to take yesterday....the three they need the most....then, today before the meet they are to take the other three.

This wise, old elf also told them that immediately after they cheer today they must eat one of every bean....this will make their routine stay in the judge's memories. :P  Then, the elf added a warning about using the beans in the wrong way.

I love this letter, but I think what makes it even better is that McKenna put two alerts on Brad's phone as reminders of the special instructions with the beans.....and the alerts went off really early this morning....ha!  MAGIC BEAN ALERTS....everybody needs those :)
