A few weeks ago I received a notice at work that I had over a week of vacation time left and I would lose it at the end of December if I didn't use it.  I usually just let it go, but this year I thought, "No, I think I want to use that vacation time."  So, I am taking this week and just doing some things to get ready for Christmas and some things I have been wanting to do around the house too.  It is weird to take a week of vacation two weeks before I will get a Christmas break.....BUT, I felt SOOOO accomplished today because I worked in the pink bedroom....that is Karly, Kassi, and Danielle's room.

After we finished our basement last year, I had wanted to use some of that new space for most of their toys and try to organize and declutter their room which had been their bedroom/playroom for a while, but I hadn't gotten around to it.  Today, I went through and organized all their toys, games, dolls, and electronics and decided what would stay in their room and what we would move to the basement....then, Brad came home to help me finish and move their furniture around before they came home from school.  Since it had been their toy room as well as their bedroom, we had two of the beds bunked.....they had been wanting them separated for a while now.  They were so surprised when they got home.....they all squealed with delight and dove onto their beds!

I also worked on organizing their homework/craft area.  

I totally love this feeling right now :)  

I mean, I am not at a beach laying in a hammock, but this is a close second.
