A Mary Christmas

Every time Karly has a spelling test, her teacher gives the class some extra credit words to try to spell.  The last test, the word "merry" was one of those words.  Karly spelled it, "Mary"....so I was trying to explain the difference between merry and Mary to her.

Today, I had one of those heartwarming mommy moments as I got to watch my three youngest daughters participate in our church's children's Christmas program, A Tree Lot Christmas.  Kassi was the manager of the tree lot, Danielle was a young lady working at a bake sale to raise money for toys for kids and Karly was a little girl named Karly :) who got the part of Mary in the Christmas program and was learning what "Paying it forward" meant.  She was super excited about getting to hold baby Jesus and having a solo.

I was so proud of these girls and the rest of the kids at Village Hope Church for the sweet message they presented to us today!

Like Mary, I have so many treasures to cherish!

Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.
