Sweets For My Peeps!

I have been baking all morning, so I needed a break :P  I baked a bunch of muffins for our church's Easter breakfast and then I started to focus in on our family luncheon after church.  I am in charge of a salad and the desserts.  A while back I found a recipe for carrot-spice cupcakes, so I saved it because I thought it would be fun to make cupcakes and let the girls put bunny peeps on top....plus I wanted to work on perfecting that cream cheese frosting....yum!

I know, however, that some people in my family will not eat those cupcakes because of the nuts, coconut, and pineapple in them, so I decided to also make a Death By Chocolate bundt cake.

When I got the recipes out to start working on them both, Savannah realized the carrot cake recipe was called To Die For Carrot Cake and the chocolate cake was called Death By Chocolate.... funny!  It was not my plan, but I guess death will be swallowed up! :)  I told Brad if I die by either of these desserts he "CADBURY" me....I thought that joke was sure to bomb with him, but he laughed really hard....a little too hard for my taste :P
