Left, Left, Right, Up, Up.....Right?

I had an early morning meeting and had to walk across campus on the wet pavement.  It was covered with earthworms and I had heels on, so I was zigzagging around them trying to make it to my destination without....SQUISH....worm guts.  Is it weird that stuff like that still becomes a game in my head?....Hypothetically speaking, what if there was arcade music in my head accompanying me on my great worm dodge like they do sometimes on the Goldbergs? Or this...

I am sure I gave the students having breakfast in the cafeteria a sight since they could see me, but not all the worms I was trying to avoid.

I had been dreading the meeting....it was sort-of intimidating to me because I also try to avoid confrontations. I knew I was going to have to open a discussion on a topic that is a little frustrating to me right now.

I'm glad I had prayed about it and was ready for it in my attitude because it really went much better than it could have gone....I am thankful for that.  I am learning.....at snail speed....(or earthworm speed :), that sometimes problems come about to usher in better solutions than existed beforehand.  What good is a can of worms?  I guess that all depends on perspective...for instance, a fisherman can take a can of worms and turn it into a very successful day.
