....emphasis on LOADS!
It was a dishes, clothing, groceries and WOOD PILE loading day....I'm a bit sore from hauling wood in a wheelbarrow.
But it was so gorgeous outside, so I had to do a beauty walk around my yard and take some Fall pics.
This was the wood we stacked today....Brad did some chopping on anything that was too large after the log splitter and the girls and I hauled all this wood from the front yard to the back yard and started stacking it. It felt like a lot more than it looks...ha!
What incredible helpers I have! Not your ordinary damsels in distress!
This dragonfly got caught in one of the Pine tree stumps....poor sap!
The girls collected all the pine cones so we can mow without running over them all.
I know this is overgrown and I should clear it out, but it's pretty :)
Interesting colors and textures in the wood pile...
Only three more piles to haul and stack....maybe another day :P
When I was little we lived in the country for a while and we liked going on Beauty Walks and finding interesting things in nature....I bet my mom and dad remember that. I was only 5 or 6, so Josh would have only been 2 or 3.
Probably the last rose of the season...
Snickers has been very busy bringing us (loads of) mice and chipmunks...ha... spelled that wrong the first time!
I have to say, I've never been fonder of any other cat.
