Thunderstruck

We had a text early this morning from a man at our church saying, "Did you hear about Casting Crowns?".  I had this horrible feeling in my stomach and so I checked into that message a little further and I found out Mark Hall is currently battling cancer.  I'm just thinking and praying for him and his family and all the people that love and encircle him to support him in his daily life.  I pray that he would have incredible strength for this battle and that God will use it for an amazing story of His wonder-working power....and my mind is also singing one of their songs....( I am learning that this message is even more important than any physical outcomes)...

I have always appreciated that the title of this song is, I Will Praise You In This Storm...not just "the" generic storm that might happen or is rumbling in the distance somewhere, but the one happening RIGHT NOW in my life....I PRAISE YOU NOW.

God inhabits praise.  Let's remember to praise GOD for HIS PERFECT WILL and whatever opportunity HE is creating with each storm.
