I was talking to Brad last week about being exhausted from all my "MOM TAXIING" responsibilities. I can't complain too much to him because he really does A LOT and, in the fall, he is totally "Mr. MOM" for three months when I work full-time. At any rate, I appreciate that he sometimes lets me vent without the comparisons of who really does more...you know. So, last week, a rose was delivered to my office and the note on it said something like "I know you have been busy, but hope you can still stop and smell the roses." I hate to admit this, but this sassy woman in me thought....you can't say stop and smell the roses (plural) when I am only holding one....is this one rose symbolizing twelve?! HA! BUT, I was going to let it go and just be happy that I was the recipient of a rose...which I should have done before I started thinking about the math not matching up :) So, when he got home I was thanking him for the gift and he said..."Guess what the lady at the florist shop said to me when I told her what I wanted on the note!!!?" She said, "Do you mean to say stop and smell the rose, since you are only sending one?" She did?....hmmm....how rude....who would even think that?! :P
You tell him, florist lady! HAHA!
That one smelled pretty sweet! :)
Hope you are stopping to smell them as well!
