The Sky's The Limit

I paused on my drive to work this morning to capture this amazing sunrise......and I knew it was going to be a GREAT day :)

Vannah finished her butterfly to honor one of the children from the Holocaust....she held it up to the light because in some of the sections she added tissue paper so that light could shine through it.  This is a pretty emotional unit/assignment, but she has taken a great interest in it.

Today was one of those days where I was reminded in a pretty powerful way that GOD cares about every care we have.  We have been having such great times of reading God's Word and praying together as a family and I have already (BY 7 DAYS into the New Year) seen Him answering prayers we have been praying....even the weird ones....like this one....I ate this baguette bread over Christmas break and hurt my jaw so that it was popping all the time....those pesky baguettes!....tonight I yawned super big and it went back into place...ha!  It hurt really bad, but I think I am cured. That's a silly one, but I have also seen His hand at work with my girls in ways I had hoped for a while and in a personal situation where I have been praying for a change.

Last night we got a call at home and the man on the line was asking for Brad.  He wasn't home so I asked if I could take a message and the man proceeded to tell me that he was calling from the hospital...that his wife is Kassi's teacher and her mom wasn't doing well at all....in fact, she could pass at any time.  He said they were trying to think of a pastor to call and they remembered that Brad was a pastor because of Kassi.  I told him I would try to connect with Brad right away to tell him about this situation.  Brad was actually in town and able to make it in time to pray with the family and with Kassi's teacher's mom before she passed away.  My husband has been given a gift for those moments when people need to be lead into comfort and reminded where true strength and hope comes from and through those opportunities God gives him, I am always reminded that his job is so very important.  I am so glad he can lead them straight to Jesus.

There is strength, hope, and unlimited opportunity through Christ....

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.  And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.  ~John 14:12-14~

The sky's the limit because in the SON there is no limit!
