Are you back into the swing of school and work after the holidays?  A couple of my girls came home with projects to work on.  Savannah is working on a project about the Holocaust....it is so touching....the class is reading a book about a children's concentration camp and the book has artwork and poems included in it from the children who were in the camp.  She has to make a butterfly in honor of a child she has chosen.

Kassi stretched out on this paper and had herself traced so she could make an (almost :) life-size picture of the explorer, Francisco Vasquez de Coronado.  I thought she did a great job designing it and coloring it, but when it was all rolled up, she kept getting in trouble for bopping her sisters with it :P

And Karly has been working on her spelling....she is mad at me that I make her write her words four times each for homework....she was huffing and puffing last night and telling me how sore her hand was.  She kept telling me I was putting too much pressure on her....and "Did YOUR MOM give you this much PRESSURE!?"....well....somehow she had enough strength left over after all those words to misspell ALL THIS PRESHR....ha!

Welcome back, routine :)
