Oh, so that's why :P

It is always interesting to me that we easily judge others on their actions....but, we want to be judged (not by our actions, but) by our intent.  It is something I heard a while back and now I observe it happening all the time when I see people react to things.  It makes me want to try to be more aware that I am prone to doing it as well.

Today, Brad, his brother, our sister-in-law, and Brad's mom are traveling to Illinois for the viewing for our friend, Carl....to show support and love to the family.  One of Vannah's best friends is Carl's niece, so I thought Vannah may want to also go to show support for her....then I found out this young lady had decided to stay back.  I don't know all the reasons...people can have a million thoughts, heartaches, and worries in their grief.....compound that with the way we feel about showing emotion at different ages and for different personality types and we can all be strange individuals sometimes.  Anyway, after some consideration, Vannah told her friend that she may be traveling along with Brad and offered for her to ride along with them and just go for the day and return back.  She was pleased with that opportunity, so she is going with them.

I was very glad that worked out and that Vannah was able to give her friend this opportunity.  It is one of those life learning opportunities for Vannah to step into someone else's shoes and try to see their perspective and offer them something meaningful.
