So shallow now I see my pool....once so scared to dip my feet;
I'd hang onto the side in terror--so fearful of the deep....
My eyes would scan the bottom, I'd inch lower with my toes
Trying not to lose my balance or worse.....get water up my nose.
I wanted to master the skill of this new medium,
but I could not loose myself and really learn to swim
into the deep...
Funny now, I've noticed a trend...
I still live much of life in the shallow end---
BUT, there's more beauty I could explore...
knowledge, love and faith I don't want to ignore...
I don't want to splash around the sides anymore...
time to cannonball into the DEEP!
The lighthouse at the pier in Grand Haven after a little fun with editing tools
Trying to sing SAFE TO SHORE along with the Rend Collective Experiment (BTW, I think their experiment is a success :) from their My Lighthouse song over and over at the top of my lungs kinda helped me realize I can do whatever God wants to me to do....God's the one who brings me safely to shore as long as my eyes are fixed on HIM!
