Forrest has alluded to an idea that you can map out the first couple clues from him riddle poem, but, from there, you must really be in the location to solve the rest of his clues....I think because then you will experience what he experienced there and wants you to see and understand about his love for it....he seems to be a deeply sentimental soul. My solution to his poem takes us to a place where he may have fished as a kid many times ...I think his poem describes in detail how to get to this spot and what land forms he could see from where he was. One of my ideas didn't work out so well yesterday because all the streams and rivers are very high here right now and even the flood plains are pretty wet. We will need to wade to get to a place today. Yesterday we scouted out a couple locations along a river in order to see if they had the exact views he was describing and we were thrilled to see what we believe he is talking about. Now, we just have to crack the last couple clues of how to pinpoint it....maybe the frogs can tell us :P
The hunt is fun because it is mentally and physically challenging, but I am torn between the search and just taking as many pictures as I can....it is beautiful....creation sings the work of God's hand!
