ANTS!
I thought that was pretty funny. Kassi got an Ant Farm for Christmas, but it didn't come with the ants....those had to be ordered separately. Grandma Sylvia brought them over last night.
Kassi loves animals and bugs, so she was thrilled!
We had to put them in the fridge for about 15 minutes before we could introduce them to their new home. The cold slows them down, so they are easier to transport from the tube to the ant farm.
It was a little gross to have a tube of ants in my refrigerator....and I made them tape the top of the ant farm shut because I could just imagine Karly doing some gymnastics move and the farm getting knocked over and well.....you get it, right? ANTS everywhere. Brad thought I should place it on my night stand so I could keep an eye on it.....WHATEVER! I will already have weird ANT dreams without them being that close to my mouth, my eyes, my ears....YIKES! :)
Brad, getting ready to move the ants to their new home. I had this anxious thought, like what happens when you peel the lid of a yogurt container and some pops out on you, that the ants were going to fly out onto Brad's favorite sweater.
After we caught a couple who tried to escape, we were confident they were all in the farm. Oooops, what are Karly and Kassi doing in there?!
