The Easy Button

I tried to take a little quiz today for fun and, at the end of it, there was this button I had to click so it would calculate my score....the results were supposed to have a numeric value and tell me something "extremely important" :) about myself.  I pushed the button several times, but it WOULD NOT compute...haha!  Seriously, quiz? I answered all those questions and now you will not tell me how I scored?" (By that point...you're so into it, you know?)...What are the point values for a person who talks to and gets irritated with the quiz?

I have a new boss at work and he really wants all of us in the office to take these personality tests so he can understand us better and make sure we are suited to our current positions...YIKES!  All I could think of when he told us that in the meeting was,

WHAT IF I AM DIVERGENT?! :)

I never do well fitting into a category on those tests....I am all over the place and second guessing my answers...like, is that right?  Is that what I would REALLY do in that case?  Which do I value more?  WHAT IS MY FAVORITE COLOR?   AHHHHHHHH!
What if I don't have one?  Do I have to say I do?
The only answer I know for sure is....DO YOU EXPERIENCE TEST ANXIETY?
A. ABSOLUTELY

We do not have to fit into a category and we should not try to compare ourselves with others....
GOD made us to live, love, enjoy, and WORSHIP HIM by loving others, pursing knowledge, standing up for things we believe in, and holding fast to truth...all the while doing our best to live at peace with all men....there's no cookie cutter way or easy button to push to accomplish this, however, we should always be OPEN for God to work in our hearts on every level...
constantly improving us to be more like Him.

We watched the story of Gabby Douglas tonight, so Karlayna is bouncing around everywhere and promising all of us she will be an Olympian some day :) Gabby's life was definitely NOT EASY, but she strove to make herself a little better each day.

I love when her coach tells her, "Champions aren't made of muscle, they're made of heart!"

It is fun to watch your kids get really inspired :)
