I am pretty sure it feels furry...don't you think?!
I just read an article that explains why I am still talking, at length...when I finally realize Brad has been sleeping for quite some time...ha!...ever had that happen? Foxp2 protein...women have more of it than men and it is located in the language area of our brains...funny! That could explain my extra 13,000 words a day...and how come many of them are not responded to :) Blogging definitely helps me get some of those extra words out. Anyway, I thought that was interesting and decided to share it...I guess the fox has a lot to say! :) Isn't that a cute little fox?
Too funny! Yep, I've found myself talking to a snoozing hubby before! Bless his heart - he tries. But you see, he doesn't have our Brinker genes!!! Combine that with the female genes he's lacking and he just ain't got it! I have learned over the years to ask before I start talking about something he's going to have to think about. And I've learned to recognize quickly if he appears to be at that point of no return! He does routinely get up between 4:30 and 5:00 though to have plenty of time with the Lord before the children start getting up so it's no wonder he can't last till 10:00 every night! Actually, if I'm getting up between 5:30 and 6 which is my goal, I can't last that long either. I used to think I was doing good to get up at 6 to have devotions before the children get up, now most of them get up at 6 too!!!!!!!! And I'm ready for bed before they are! Yikes!
ReplyDeleteSo it's one of those Brinker genes, huh? I also got the "Brinker feet"...just another example of genome dominance at it's finest :) So great to hear from you! Chad sounds like Brad in the way you describe above...I like the way you phrased it..."the point of no return"...that is so true. Gotta love that they will put up with us! God bless you and your family! ~Heather
