I had a good idea today...well, I think it is a good idea. It's a fun idea for our church to do something semi-big in our community this summer. I told Brad about it because I want him to present it to the elders tonight in a meeting he is attending...if we go for it....we don't have much time to prepare. So, he was getting ready to leave and I asked, "Are you going to tell them the idea?" He responded...."I'll throw it out there." I told him, "I think that is different than pitching it" So then I got to thinking about what he said to me..I guess, technically, there are two meanings of "pitching it" they are to present it or throw it away...hey, he said throw it out there.....what did he mean? :) So, I told another elder about my mini-brainstorm from today....he is also an "idea person" and he might catch the vision and "pitch it" for me if Brad just "throws it out...there"....haha!
I am also planning (plan A) to make homemade ice cream for the first time tomorrow night for Danielle's birthday party, but I think (just in case) I should have a big tub of vanilla (plan B) in the freezer....does this mean I have trust/faith issues? :) You know, the extra ice cream will not go to waste in our house! Well....I guess it depends on how you spell the 4th to the last word in the previous sentence.
