Season Confusion?

Last night I took my two youngest daughters out to shop for jeans because all of their's were getting holes, had marker or painting stains, or were getting too short on them.  The first store we went to we walked all around and there were shorts, swim suits, and capri type pants, but no jeans.  I asked the workers at the store about it and they said they had already put away the winter inventory and are ready for Spring and Summer.....so NO JEANS.  I laughed at that as I left the store into the SNOW :) Luckily, we found some elsewhere.

Even when we feel confused with our seasons....or how long they will last....

I am one of those weird people who have never had to wear glasses and am totally excited about having them :P

With these glasses and a clipboard, I am sure to conquer the world now...haha!

We jumped like crazy and then tried to make Dave's a little more famous....yummy BBQ :P  That just wouldn't have worked well in the opposite order....well, we may have made Dave's famous at Sky Zone....hmmmm.

I am thankful for this guy :)  He puts up with a lot in a house with six ladies....and I do have a leading role in a lot of the drama.  I am just so grateful that he can see me at my worst sometimes and still love me through it.

Spare Me Some Change?

I am not horrible with change....I even enjoy it sometimes.....but, I have been experiencing lots of change at work...for a couple months I have been working a couple different roles in a transition time as I waited for a hiring process to be completed.  Yesterday, I started to train my replacement for my "previous" job and that felt so good because I had been starting to stress over how I was going to do it all and do it with excellence.  There have been a lot of overwhelming days, but God always helps us make it through each minute.

I can cut a piece of wood in half just by looking at it.....it's true, I saw it with my own eyes :P

So, we made some arrangements to have a few more trees taken down in our extra lot....operation wedding garden phase two.  You know usually when people say things have phases they mean like three phases, but my wedding garden is going to have tons of phases.  We thought the job would happen last week, but we never heard from the tree people....then today, as I was getting ready for work a couple trucks with trailers pulled in.  The girls were already complaining yesterday about having snow during their Spring Break....now they get to wake up early to chain saws....hehe....I probably shouldn't laugh at that, but it definitely gave them some entertainment to watch the trees falling today :P  And tonight, there was a large branch jammed into the ground from falling off the tree, so we took turns pretending it was Excalibur.
