Some-brero....we will celebrate!  

We enjoyed Danielle's birthday as a family at Los Tres Amigos today and her Oma joined us.  

Brad gets an opportunity to preach today at church because we are celebrating our graduates.  I got to sing with our Parma church for the first service, but then Karly felt ill, so I needed to bring her home and let the rest go on to the Jackson church without us.  I was listening to one of my favorite songs by Steven Curtis Chapman from years ago...then, after it played, another song started that I had never heard before and it is so sweet....especially as I am here thinking about how fast time goes by and celebrating these monumental days with friends and family who are leading their kids into a little different phase of life....with excitement and unknowns.

Demo Day

After I got off work, Brad played with the Bobcat....he hit and lifted the shed a bunch of times until he could push it up and over.  Then we took it apart piece by piece and separated the wood from the metal.  I had kind-of hoped the frame of it would be set into the ground really well and when we took off the old wood, roof, and siding there would have been this awesome structure underneath with cool looking rustic beams (and maybe one of those chandeliers....I mean...maybe!?) that we could just leave there as a little ARBOR....but alas, NO....there were nasty wasps nests and mice in between the walls of the thing....fun times!

Where the shed used to be....

We did find this guy in all the debris after pulling all the big pieces off the pile....it's wings were still wet and it couldn't fly, but it didn't look injured....just very new, so we wondered if it just came out of it's cocoon.

The girls put a twig over a bucket and just let it dry it's wings for the whole afternoon.....they sat by it and watched it for a LONG time....and then they got to watch it fly off.  It was funny that our DEMOlition day was it's DEMOnstration day :)  Well, I liked that anyway...kind-of the whole concept of when something dies....something else is born....God's proof that there is always hope.

I picked up Vannah from work and took Danielle to a friend's birthday party...it is funny that she was invited to someone else's party on her own birthday, but she REALLY wanted to go, so we are celebrating her party next weekend :)  I took Vannah and Danielle out on a little shopping excursion since they just happened to be with me and Vannah needed shoes for work and I wanted to let Danielle pick something fun today for her REAL birthday.  We spent a little over a hundred dollars and Vannah was SHOCKED.....she just got her first pay stub today, so she knew she made about the same amount from working the last three weekends.  She said, "It would have taken me three FULL days of work to buy these things!"  HAHA! I love that she is starting to understand the value of a dollar :P

And, how good it feels to rest at the end of a long day.

Up Early For Work

Had to drop Savannah off for work before Karly and I work....so had about a 25 minute break in between....so glad Spring Arbor has a Biggby now!

 I am sure she will perform better at gymnastics practice with a little COLD hot chocolate in her...and my tour guiding skills will be amazing...ha! :P

It is so hard to believe you are turning ten today :P  You are such an amazing blessing from GOD and I am so thankful He planned for you to be a part of our family! It is wonderful to watch you grow up and learn how to be more like Him.

Don't Quit Your Day Job...

So this was an interesting part of my day....this is the view from my office door....another office door.  My coworker was laughing a lot in the morning and I was wondering what was going on.

Well, he was making a picture to put in the narrow window of HIMSELF working at his computer.....can you see the end of the paper at the bottom....haha!  HILARIOUS! That whole view of the blinds, window, and arm of a man sitting at his desk chair...yeah, not real.  This particular co-worker recently resigned, so I guess now we get to see a different side of him for a week or two....  

I wonder what he watched today on NetFlix :P  KIDDING!

And....some yummy random news....Wendy's has a new salad option...a Mediterranean POWER salad with HUMMUS :P  I think it goes well with the Tropical Green Tea.

I feel so powerful now I might go knock down the shed without the help of the Bobcat...hehe!  What if Brad came home and it was done....I SOOOO WANT TO!
