I heard a good word last night through some Lisa Terkeurst teaching from the book, Uninvited.  She said you can enter a moment in your emptiness or you can come in with the fullness of Christ.  I think, regardless of our circumstances....whether cancer or another hardship, this is a terrific challenge in that it is hard, yet it is victorious.  There are wonderful things that our present circumstances can never take from us!
