You know how the Bible often refers to the earth's last days with vivid word images of a woman in labor?  I think it is to help us understand the pains, the struggle and suffering that humanity is/will endure, but we should never forget that this labor is not in vain.....it is for our deliverance.  I am thankful for the promised deliverance....and the knowledge that our struggles in this life are not against flesh and blood....never against other people....that is a truth that is good to remember.

For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ~Ephesians 6:12~
